MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international advancements into Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN as his first full-length album. It peaked at number eight in the Top Latin Albums chart. The following year he was a part of Ozuna on their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and next year, released his sophomore album the chart-topping Dopamina. In 2021 he recorded a duet for TINI's hit single Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo is a musician born in a musical home. His mother and brother were both musicians. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. When he was a kid was playing the ukulele and the piano. The first choice for his career was to be a vet, but his brother Julian persuaded him to learn how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban instructor. The end result was that he realized his ability to sing and also changed the course his life.
