Later, she appeared on sitcoms such as Seinfeld Frasier Wings Ned and Stacey Mad About You Caroline in the City 3rd Rock from the Sun as well as Just Shoot Me!. She played the main character in a season 5 of Murder She Wrote, Coal Miner's Murder. She said in 2012 that she was in state of panic because I'd not had a job for a while. The agent I was working with called me one day to tell me that I had been offered a $5,000 guest role. My agent called me an hour later and informed me that I had been offered an opportunity to play a guest. The role was worth $5,000. Jessica Fletcher was played by an old student of mine.
